Overview
Founded in 2003 and established in 2005, XAMAS is a sports-fashion house shaped by figure skating, couture craft, and community. We design elegant, performance pieces that feel beautiful, last, and move the sport forward: performance and elegance in motion. Created for winners with bold vision, precision and trusted expertise.
At the heart of XAMAS is founder, Samantha Giraud. Beginning her journey as a figure skating coach in Hong Kong at just 19. She saw how many teenagers struggled to express who they truly are and designed her first 84 handmade costumes so her students could feel elegant, move freely, and be themselves. What started as a coach’s care has grown into a designer label loved by skaters in 60+ cities across 18 countries.
Samantha's passion for the sport transcended the rink. She was instrumental in organizing community events such as the Hong Kong Students Computer Ensemble Competition, and created the XAMAS Ice Model Contest (c. 2000s–2010s), a platform for young talents to express style, grace, and confidence on ice.
In 2015, Samantha brought her flair for figure skating fashion to the international stage at Hong Kong Fashion Week, marking the beginning of her journey as a couture designer.
Samantha then trained at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris and in 2017 presented her first haute couture collection at CHIC China International Fashion Fair (Shanghai).
In 2018, She presented her haute couture and sustainable sports collection during Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer at Salon Marceau, Paris, upcycling and using sustainable materials to create colour-rich, meticulously cut garments. Her sustainable skater jackets became a signature, best-selling item.
Today, our mission remains unchanged: to support children’s growth and celebrate the mothers and mentors behind them. XAMAS is more than clothing—we share love, knowledge, and excellence. And with MONT by XAMAS, we carry that spirit into après-ski: stylish, practical, and 100% cruelty-free (no feathers, no leather)—because we believe luxury can be kind and accessible at every age.
Our History
2003
XAMAS was born
Founded in 2003 by coach Samantha Giraud to make figure-skating training wear and costumes her students couldn’t find—elegant pieces that fit, moved, and felt right.
Established as a registered brand in 2005, XAMAS stayed true to Samantha’s vision, boldly introducing colour stories and glittering rhinestones into everyday training: refined brights, confident pastels, and considered neutrals designed to mix season to season—helping skaters express individuality and confidence when black colour was the norm.
2011
XAMAS Ice Model Contest
Created the first modelling contest platform for young ice skaters to showcase their talent, performances, physique, body movements, and overall image, so as to promote a fun and engaging competitive experience for participants of all levels.
2015
International Runway Debut, Hong Kong Fashion Week
XAMAS was the first figure skating brand to present figure-skating dresses and performance sportswear on an international runway—bridging rink and fashion stage.
Technical silhouettes were cut with couture precision; stretch knits engineered for warmth and mobility; colour-forward palettes and refined rhinestone work added quiet glamour.
The show translated function—stretch, insulation, freedom of movement—into an elevated, understated fashion language, proving that true performance can live as couture.

2017
CHIC China International Fashion Fair (Shanghai) 15-17 March 2017
Samantha presented her first SAMANTHA GIRAUD Magical Garden Haute Couture collection at CHIC China International Fashion Fair, March 15–17, 2017, National Exhibition & Convention Centre (Shanghai)—dreamlike gowns, refined womenswear and menswear (blazers and trousers). A key milestone where poetic vision met couture precision—inviting audiences to believe, and see. Fully allocated to wholesale partners at launch.

2018
Paris Fashion Week for Spring Summer
Presented XAMAS x Samantha Giraud haute couture and sustainable sports collection at Salon Marceau in Paris, 25 September 2018.
Showcasing haute couture designs utilize waste materials to craft garments full of colour and vibrancy.
XAMAS was one of the first to integrate responsible fabrics such as TENCELâ„¢ into training pieces where appropriate, focusing on hand feel, durability, and care practicality.
Among these, XAMAS sustainable skater jackets have become our signature, best-selling item.

All About Figure Skating Powerful Mind Summit 2021
During the most disrupted seasons, the brand convened coaches, leaders, and skaters for pragmatic knowledge-sharing. The summit focused on community stability—training continuity, mindset, and resource pooling—so progress didn’t stall even when the world did.

A program centered on emotional intelligence and leadership for women, grounded in the belief that capability brings responsibility. Sessions translated soft skills into practical tools—communication under pressure, resilience habits, and supportive cultures for athletes and teams.

Unique Dream Fighters (UDF) Academy Launch
A brand-led empowerment and learning platform for skaters, parents, and coaches, turning mindset and EQ into everyday performance tools. The Academy complements technical training with frameworks for confidence, focus, and healthier athlete-family-coach dynamics.
